挫折と苦しみのなかで見つけた光が、いまの表現の起点です。生きづらさや繊細さを、審美眼を通して写真と映像へ変える。消費されない作品を、永く残していくために。
The light found amid setback and suffering is where this expression begins. Through an aesthetic eye, the difficulty of living and a delicate sensibility become photographs and film, so that work which is not consumed may be kept for a long time.

仕事もお金も、ときに人との距離さえ失っても、手元に残っていたものがカメラでした。生きづらさのただなかで、写真と映像は自己を保つための表現であり、生きる糧でもありました。暗い面に、ひとつの光だけを置く——その姿勢が、いまの作品の起点です。
「なんかいい」で終わらせず、何がどういいのかを言葉にする。人柄を大事に、頼んで良かったと言ってもらえる対応を心がけています。
SNSや情報が流れていく時代に、消費されない写真・映像を、永く残していく。数少なく訪れる楽しいと思える瞬間を見落とさず、しっかり噛みしめる——そんな距離感で、シャッターを切ります。
Even when work, money, and at times even closeness with others were lost, what remained in hand was a camera. In the midst of the difficulty of living, photographs and film were a way to keep a self, and a means to live. To place a single light on the dark side—that stance is where the work begins.
Rather than leaving it at “somehow nice,” I put into words what is good, and how. I take care with the person, and try to be someone you are glad you asked.
